Maundy Thursday Video, Worship, and Reflection

Hey friends, on this Maundy Thursday, let’s take a short pause to listen to a beautiful rendition of “I’ve Just Seen Jesus” by the Martins as we reflect on the Last Supper—a special and eternally significant time between the disciples and Jesus.

The intimate gathering of friends for a meal ushered in what would be the most important event in history, yet it also gave Jesus’ disciples the chance to see thee beauty of relationship with him.

Today, we can follow the example of this hodgepodge group of Jesus’ closest friends by spending time in his presence. We, too, can call Jesus friend and know he is never rushed when we sit down and have a conversation with him.

Did the disciples understand the importance of that moment? Did they appreciate this simple meal with their Savior, undistracted by the world outside that borrowed upper room?

These are the questions we can reflect upon as we think about the significance of Maundy Thursday, the Last Supper, and the empty tomb. May we gather in the coming days with reverence, appreciation, and humble thanks for the blessings we’ve been given.

This five-minute acapella performance by The Martins singing group blends amazing harmonies with a heartfelt message.
